Shipping policy

Handprinted.dk will dispatch orders with PostNord domestically in Denmark and GLS/DHL to all other destinations. All parcels are insured and have a tracking number so the parcel can be traced. 

IMPORTANT: Please note that we only ship orders during our service hours, Monday to Thursday. 

After receiving your order confirmation email, you will receive another notification when your order has shipped. We are carefully packaging your prints and therefore might have a longer processing time.

Pre-order items will be produced after ordering, an estimated shipping date will be written on the pre-order product page description.

On new releases, we are experiencing high volumes of orders and therefore some delays will be expected.

Denmark are 3-4 business days.
Europe are 5-10 business days. 

Handprinted.dk accepts no responsibility for delays in customs processes outside the EU. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Handprinted.dk is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

Delivery estimates are only stated as guidelines. 

Shipping costs

Shipping costs vary from country to country. In the following section, you will find the shipping options and prices.

We offer free shipping DK on orders over 999DKK / 135 EUR and free shipping in EU, on orders over 2.000 DKK / 270 EUR

Zone 1: Denmark, 49 DKK / €6,6 EUR

Zone 2: Europe 150 DKK / €20,95 EUR

We do not offer shipping outside Europe - Sorry!

Packaging

Artworks are carefully packed and shipped in high-quality cardboard tubes with an extra layer of a protective cardboard box. We mainly use packaging made of recycled materials and aim to keep our use of plastic at a minimum.

If there’s anything you need clarified or if you have a shipping request that falls outside of our ordinary shipping services, you are welcome to send an email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Local pick-up

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pick-up.

After placing your order and selecting local pick-up at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick-up within 2 to 3 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Please have your order confirmation email with you when arriving to pick up your order.

In busy times like christmas or summer, local pick-up may not be available.

How do I check the status of my order? 

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@handprinted.dk with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at hello@handprinted.dk with your order number and detailed photos of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Handling

We highly recommend that you handle the artwork with utter caution and care. 

The large areas of color are very delicate and can get damaged by the oil on your skin or simply by stroking it with any rough material, such as other papers. 

When handling the artwork, it is preferred that you wear cotton gloves or use a piece of cotton fabric. 

Please get your artwork framed by professionals. The artwork can succumb to moist atmosphere, bending, scratches, and/or acidic damage by placing it in a standard frame.
